UI/UX Design

Research-led product design for web and mobile — interfaces that reduce support tickets and raise conversion, not just screens that look good in a portfolio.

Most design problems present as business problems first. Sign-ups start but do not finish. Support answers the same question forty times a week. A feature the team spent a quarter on goes unused. None of those are fixed by a fresh colour palette.

We design digital products by finding out where users get stuck and why, then removing the obstacle. That means talking to real users, watching real sessions, prototyping the fix and testing it before engineering builds it — which is considerably cheaper than discovering the problem after launch.

We work as the design team for companies without one, and alongside in-house teams that need extra capacity or an outside read on a product they have grown too close to.

Design-to-development handoff

Specs, assets and component documentation that engineers can build from without a dozen clarifying questions.

How we deliver UI/UX design

  1. 1

    Understand

Stakeholder interviews, user research and a look at your analytics and support tickets — the data usually already says where the problem is.

  2. 2

    Structure

Information architecture and user flows agreed before anything visual, because the hard problems are structural.

  3. 3

    Prototype

Low-fidelity first, tested and revised, then high-fidelity design once the structure holds up.

  4. 4

    Validate

Usability testing with people who match your actual users, and revisions based on what they do rather than what they say.

  5. 5

    Hand off and support

Developer-ready files, a design system, and availability through the build to answer questions as they come up.

UI/UX Design — frequently asked questions

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX is the structure — what the product does, in what order, and how someone gets from intention to result. UI is the surface: layout, typography, colour, interaction detail. Good UI on bad UX produces a beautiful product nobody can use. We do both, in that order.

How much does UI/UX design cost?

A UX audit of an existing product is the smallest engagement and is priced as a fixed package. Full product design is quoted by scope — number of screens, research depth, and whether a design system is included. We price per project, not per hour.

Can you redesign our existing product?

Yes, and it is a common engagement. We start with an audit of where the current product loses people, agree what is worth keeping, and redesign in stages so you are not forced into a risky all-at-once relaunch.

Do you do design only, or can you build it too?

Either. Many clients take the Figma files to their own engineers. Others have us design and build, which removes the handoff gap entirely — our designers and developers sit on the same team.

Do you run user research and testing?

Yes, and we push for it. Testing five real users finds most usability problems, and it costs far less than building the wrong thing. We recruit participants who match your actual customers rather than whoever is convenient.
